The insight of our parents and students is very important! Please join us for these important feedback opportunities: Tuesday, May 21 - Community Conversation - 6:30 to 8 p.m. Southeast High, 903 S. Edgemoor • Hear an update on the data being gathered as part of this review, then have the opportunity to break into small discussion groups and share your thoughts and opinions • Facilitated by the staff at WSU’s Center for Community Support and Research • Childcare provided • Translations available in Spanish and Vietnamese ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The BOE will gather community input through May, then discuss options as well as the community’s perspective during its three meetings in June. Christa McAuliffe was a public school teacher from New Hampshire who was selected to become the first teacher in space.  Her energy and love for students and teaching made her an outstanding educator.   The possibilities are endless as to how we can incorporate her character traits,  love of science, and helping students make real life connections with the skills they are learning in our classrooms.
